Mid-drive kits mount where your bottom bracket is and drive the chain, so the motor uses your bike's gears — which is why they climb far better than a hub motor and still freewheel like a normal bike. Both kits here ship complete with your choice of battery, plus display, charger, chainring, e-brake levers, throttle, speed sensor and wiring harness.

BBS02 750W — the right kit for most riders. Fits 68–73mm bottom bracket shells. Up to 1,300W with a 52V pack.

BBSHD 1000W — seriously powerful, and officially off-road and private-property use only. Covers 68–120mm shells via its bracket-size option, including fat-bike frames.
