52V Battery

A 52V pack pulls more peak power from the same Bafang motor than a 48V pack — up to 1,300W on the BBS02 and 1,764W on the BBSHD, against 1,152W and 1,638W on 48V. If you want the most out of a mid-drive kit, this is the shelf to shop.

Compatibility: 52V suits the Bafang BBS02 750W and BBSHD 1000W mid-drive kits. Our front-hub kits use 48V — see 48V batteries for those. A 52V pack needs a 52V charger; never charge it on a 48V charger. We cannot guarantee compatibility with other sellers' motors, and an incompatible pairing can damage the controller.

Range: figure 13–24 watt-hours per mile depending on rider weight, terrain, assist level and speed — so a 603 Wh pack is roughly 25–46 miles, and a 1,092 Wh pack roughly 45–84 miles.
